U.S. 40

U.S. 40, primarily follows the same path as the National Road and its predecessor, the Cumberland Road, across the midsection of the United States. Its eastern terminus is Atlantic City, New Jersey, and its western terminus is near Park City, Utah. In addition to those states, the highway passes through Delaware, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas and Colorado.
